WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

As our first front-end specialist, you’ll be initially responsible for the successful migration of our various user interfaces to our new back-end. After that work is completed, you’ll have a key role within our product team to create great user experiences on our platform.

Additionally, we expect you to be responsible for:

• A good collaboration with our back-end developers: no work is done alone and we want our code to be scalable & beautiful
• A good collaboration with our designers: just like our code, we expect our design system and practices to be the best
• Good documentation of our systems and processes, to ensure that onboarding new developers is as smooth as you would dream it for yourself

ABOUT YOU

• You have strong communication & interpersonal skills: you clearly convey your ideas and problems/challenges to different stakeholders inside and outside your organisation
• You have experience working with Javascript/Typescript and more specifically React.js.
• You are highly motivated by the thought of creating the best experience for your users
• You write future-proof and maintainable code with relevant test coverage

BONUS

• You have experience working with designers and using design tools (Figma, etc)
• You are familiar with Python and PostgreSQL databases
• You are familiar with CI/CD tools

A valid work permit is required for applicants who are not EU Citizens.

And a very important note: any lack of work experience and studies can easily be balanced out with a great portfolio!
